Pokes Insider: Jay Sawvel confident Cowboys can turn season around

Oklahoma State wide receiver Jay Sawvel is confident that the Cowboys can turn their season around after a tough start.

The Cowboys are 0-2 to start the season, but Sawvel believes that the team has the talent and the potential to be successful.

“We have a lot of talent on this team,” Sawvel said. “We just need to find a way to put it all together.”

Sawvel is one of the most experienced players on the Cowboys’ roster. He has played in 31 games and started 20 games in his career.

“I’ve been through a lot in my career, and I know that we can turn this around,” Sawvel said. “We just need to keep working hard and stay positive.”

The Cowboys will have a chance to get their first win of the season on Saturday when they host the Kansas Jayhawks.

“We’re excited about this game,” Sawvel said. “We know that Kansas is a good team, but we’re confident that we can win.”

The Cowboys are 7-0 all-time against the Jayhawks. Kansas is 0-2 this season.
